1. Display a deck of cards. Spread the deck and show it from both sides. All the cards have a hole right through. A spectator choses a card and signs it. The card goes back into the deck.
2. Put two rubber bands around the deck cross wise. The selected card is now locked in the deck! Show the deck from both sides and put it on the table.
3. It's impossible to remove the selected card without taking away the rubber bands -so that's exactly what you do.
WHEN YOU REMOVE THE LAST RUBBER BAND -THE SIGNED CARD IS LINKED TO THE RUBBER BAND!!! The only way to separate it is to tear the card or cut the rubber band!
