| Collector's will be familar with the Hoffman Climbing Coin. About 15 years ago, the effect was recreated by Douglas-Wayne Illusioneering. These replicas sold for about $500.00. They were truly a piece of work; I know, I own one! Mikame has now furnished their version of this wonderful piece of history. Done in typical Mikame fashion, the workmanship is superb! Here's the effect... A small locked box is placed atop the tower. You ask a spectator to sign a coin, which is borrowed. You put the coin in the drawer of the tower. The coin visibly rises slowly in the tower. As it reaches the top, a click is heard. The coin vanishes! You have the spectator open the locked box at the top of the tower. There appears the coin signed by them! Needless to say, the drawer at the bottom of the tower is indeed empty. Included, you receive the box, coin tower and everything necessary to perfrom this amazing effect.
