| Performer shows two coins, a silver half dollar and a copper coin. They are both placed in his left hand. The magi openly removes the silver coin, placing it in his pocket. When he opens his hand, it has appeared back! He now takes the copper coin and places that in his pocket. He opens his hand and it too has appeared back in the left hand. This happens 4 times. On the last time, the magi asks the audience which coin to remove. If the copper is removed and placed in the pocket, the audience will expect it to reappear in the left hand. This time, the magician opens his hand and everything is gone!
