| A deck of cards with a hole running thru one side is given to the spectator to shuffle. A card is freely selected. You remove a pencil from your pocket and show how the pencil freely passes thru the selected card. The selected card is replaced and cut into the deck. The pencil is pushed thru all the holes, the deck remains suspended from the pencil. You command the selected card to rise from the deck.. A quick upward motion and the card has risen from the deck. The deck and pencil can now be given out for examination as you take a well deserved bow.
