A spectator selects a card. The card is then lost in the deck. The deck is boxed and placed atop the person's coffee cup. Look deep into the spectator's eyes and ask them to focus on the name of their card. Have them remove the box of cards and look into their coffee cup. Floating in their coffee is a ghostly type of writing which spells out the name of their selected card. Very strange indeed!
