Ask a person to think of a card. Tell him you will name his card. He will not believe you. Name his card Elmer! It usually gets a laugh. Tell him to say the name of the card for the first time. Remove it from the deck and place it aside. Show that every other card has a different name on its back. When you flip over their selected card the name ELMER is written across its back! Strong and simple!
